We are a young persons (21 to 40) leadership training organization making an impact in our communities.  Our programs stress the development of the individual members leadership and managerial skills through the running of projects that benefit the community and the Jaycee movement as a whole.  We build leaders!

The Jaycees Organization is a volunteer organization that plans its programs and projects around the needs and desires of its members.  We are very active in our community and in our self-improvement program.  We invite you to participate to the extent you desire.  Please do not feel obligated to participate in everything we do.  Since we plan activities and programs for the diverse personalities in our organization, one could easily spend 24 hours a day in Jaycee activities.  Please keep in mind that Jaycees is a volunteer organization and should be balanced with, but not necessarily come before, your family or job.

There are several hundred members of the Washington Jaycees with our state headquarters located in Ellensburg, Washington.  The state officers and program chairpersons are one of our greatest resources for course instructors and general Jaycee information and materials.

In addition, there are over 75,000 members of the United States Jaycees located throughout the fifty states.  Our headquarters are located in Tulsa, Oklahoma and you will meet US Jaycee officers throughout the year at state and local functions, as well as receive a quarterly magazine. Most impressively, perhaps, you are now a member of JCI (Junior Chamber International). This brotherhood encompasses over 123 countries and over 8,000 chapters throughout the world and has it's headquarters in Coral Gables, Florida.
